iv coffee is a specialty cafe on Queen Street in Berry. I rebuilt its website so customers can buy beans and merch from their phone, and the owner can run the shop himself.

iv coffee already sold online through a Square store. The owner, Nick, wanted a site that matched the cafe and the community around it. In his words, the old sites were “simple and generic”.
A website that feels like the cafe, with a shop built into it. Most people visiting are on a phone, so every screen was designed for a phone first.
Who they are, where they are and when they are open, on the first screen.
Sizes, colours and sold-out items are clear before anything goes in the bag.
Local delivery asks for a postcode first, so only Berry-area customers can choose it.
Alongside the website, I built Nick a private app for the day to day. He signs in, makes changes and presses publish. No developer and no waiting.
Photos, prices, sizes, colours and stock for each one.
Add, change or remove wines and snacks in the same app, so both venues run from one place.
Every paid order in one list: what was bought, pickup or post, and where it is going. Mark it shipped with a tracking number.
Every paid order sends a message straight to his phone with the order details.
Stock goes down by itself when an order is paid, and sold-out sizes cannot be added to the bag.
A copy of every order is emailed off-site each Monday, so nothing depends on one system.
When I searched for coffee in Berry, ChatGPT recommended iv coffee first and Google listed it first in local results.

“Communication was terrific, quick responses and prompt to implement the changes needed.”
If a mate asked you about getting a site built, what would you tell them?
“I’d tell them to have a consult and see what Henry can do, very flexible options at an accessible price.”
How would you compare the new sites to the old?
“New sites are more user friendly, have better SEO so more reach on Google and easier to edit and adapt”

Tell me what you sell and how you want to get it to your customers. I will come back with what I would build and what it would cost.
